Mr Rudge uses a variety of modern therapies in treating foot problems. He has trained in minimally invasive forefoot surgery which can potentially offer benefits in the treatment of certain foot conditions. It is a technique that has been used for many years in some parts of the world and is now gaining popularity in the UK. There is currently a lack of long-term data available about its use but early results are promising and Mr Rudge can discuss this in detail with you and whether or not it is appropriate in your case.
He also has a particular interest in the treatment of Plantar Fasciitis and uses a robust treatment programme including the use of particular stretching exercises, Shockwave therapy and newer surgical techniques if required.
